PREVENTIVE AND WELLNESS CARE
We recommend patients see one of our Veterinarians annually for a wellness exam, for elderly pets wellness visits may be more frequent. During this exam, the Doctor will provide a nose to tail exam as well as address any concerns or questions you may have about your pet.
IF YOUR PET IS A NEW PATIENT:
1) Fill out a new patient and a new client form. (These forms are located under the drop down menu "Forms" at the top of this website)
2) Gather any available previous medical records and email them to email@example.com. If you are unable to email us these records, please call your former vet and request your records be sent to us on your behalf.
3) Call us to schedule an appointment.
IF THIS IS AN EMERGENCY: please refer to the list of emergency veterinary hospitals located under the drop-down menu "Emergency/Specialists" at the top of this website. We do not accept walk-ins and can only accept same-day appointments if our schedule allows.
An up-to-date annual allows you to feel confident in the status of your pet's health. It also provides us with the necessary information in order to prescribe continued medication, specialty food, and preventatives, as well as schedule your pet for technician appointments.
Technician appointments, for non-illness related services like nail trims, anal gland expressions, and vaccines (except the Rabies vaccine), help your pet stay up to date in between Doctor's exams. However, the technicians are not able to diagnose any illnesses, if you have concerns that fall out of the scope of the services detailed above, please schedule a Doctor's appointment.
