We are very excited to announce our newest tool in management of pain, wounds and inflammation: laser therapy! This versatile tool can be used to decrease pain and inflammation, speed wound healing with less scar tissue formation, and improve blood flow and nerve function in damaged areas. While laser therapy is a relatively new science, research has shown great improvement with almost no side effects. Adding laser therapy to your pet’s treatment plan may allow you to give less medication for chronic conditions, or treat for a shorter period of time for acute problems.
Ready for my treatment!
A therapy plan will be set up with your veterinarian when discussing your pet’s condition and how to best treat it. Most pets will need an initial series of 3-6 treatments, depending on the severity of their condition and how well they respond to treatment. The treatment itself involves a warm laser light passed over the affected area with no drugs or invasive treatments. All your pet feels is a soothing warmth and will quickly show you how much better they feel!
